WASHINGTON, D.C. — Yesterday, the U.S. Travel Association convened travel industry CEOs for a meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office to discuss the enormous opportunity ahead for America’s travel economy. During the meeting, U.S. Travel CEO Geoff Freeman and President Trump discussed the goal of welcoming 100 million international visitors annually by 2030, which would result in $81 billion in additional spending and more than 400,000 American jobs.

“Setting a goal of 100 million international visitors gives government and industry something important to work toward together. The United States is unmatched in the number of unique destinations and experiences, from national parks and beaches, to energetic cities and cultural landmarks across the country. With the Olympics and other major global events ahead, we have a clear runway to make lasting improvements that benefit international visitors and American travelers alike.” - GREAT USA Coalition Executive Director C. Stewart Verdery, Jr.

The summit follows a successful FIFA World Cup, America250 and a strong summer of travel, and comes as the United States prepares to host a number of mega global events in the years to come, including the 2028 Summer and 2034 Winter Olympics.

The Great Usa Coalition Stands Ready To Support This Goal
