With the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching, the GREAT USA coalition, an industry group of travel and business leaders, is launching a “DC Soccer All-Star Team” team to celebrate the moment.

 

The team will be announced June 1, and nominations are now open across Washington’s policy community. Feel free to nominate yourself or a colleague!

 

Nominees can include Members of Congress, staff, Administration officials, journalists, lobbyists, and others in the D.C. ecosystem. Submissions should include a brief description of the individual’s playing career (including any college/pro experience) or contributions to the soccer community.

 

Nominations are due by May 15. Let's build a winning team!
